I think we nearly did last year - mostly because one of the transformers blew up or something like that.

I'd prefer to be at work or in the shopping centre on a hot day. The a/c at home is not powerful enough to cool the whole house. Worse thing is we have a skylight in the kitchen.... may be we should cover it up in Summer!

Ummm.... our house is very old & shabby so I am too embarrassed to show photos.... Embarassed I think the best part of our house is the kitchen and the bathroom as we have renovated it. Wink

You can still install a skylight if you want, just as long as you install a "shield" that you can shut it in Summer.

It's okay. I just love diy and home improvement programmes on tv. I can only imagine how pretty your kitchen and bathroom is.

The only thing keeping me from installing a skylight is the bureaucratic process. I have to clear it with the HOA first.

And on that note, I have to run. My fave design show, Design Star is coming on in 10 mins. Mr. Green ttfn!
